The beauty of Milton Caniff’s artwork matches the beauty of pin-up Miss Lace in the classic strip, MALE CALL, done for GI newspapers during World War II.

A hardbound compilation from Simon and Schuster came out in 1945, and contained 112 strips. I'm showing half of them today. Come back Thursday for the rest.

In 2005 and 2006 famous MAD cartoonist Sergio Aragonés did full-page cartoons for WEEKLY WORLD NEWS in his intricate and wall-to-wall, top-to-bottom art style, with every square inch presenting something funny. Here are 12 of his cartoons. They are of the “find the hidden objects” style, and sorry, I have not provided the keys to finding all the objects. You are on your own.
