Four Wonder Wart-Hog DRAG CARTOONS adventures, 1967
Gilbert Shelton's Wonder Wart-Hog, the Hog of Steel, is well known to underground comix fans, but before his UG career he appeared regularly in PETE MILLAR'S DRAG CARTOONS magazine. Here are four examples, five pages each, from issues number 40-43, all from 1967. As a side note, check out the covers, which changed to a psychedelic style. I don't know how long that lasted, but it is an abrupt departure from what the readers were used to.
