TWIN EARTHS is a comic strip that appeared in newspapers from 1952 to 1963. It was created by Oskar Lebeck (1903-1966) and Alden McWilliams (1916-1993). This is the eighth series of dailies, originally published from May 24, 1954 to August 14, 1954.

ZANY #1 — 1958 MAD imitation — edited by Carl Burgos

There was a glut of magazines imitating MAD on the stands in the late 1950s. None of them but CRACKED ever presented any competition to MAD. This is ZANY, one of those attempts, sometimes hitting but also missing in its attempts at humor and satire. Edited by Carl Burgos, creator of the Human Torch, and staffed by several artists who worked in comic books.
