This man was stupefyingly good. I'm surprised he isn't better known today. I'm struck by the use of the second color. Did the publishers of this book really spring for an extra color to reproduce the blue wash Price used to indicate Ben Day areas? That's dedication.
Smurfswacker...I'm not sure what you're seeing. The dust jacket, which is the first picture, is in color, and I have taken care to reproduce it as close as possible to the muted tones of the colors. The other drawings are all just black and white, no color at all, exactly as they were printed.
