WHISPER — 1950 sleaze magazine — sexy, exploitation

WHISPER was a magazine published in the 1940s and 1950s, pre-dating the men’s magazines of a few years hence. In the issue of May 1950 we read "Will Insects Rule the World?" "How Hollywood Does It" (special effects), "The Curse of the Hope Diamond," "Flaming Youth Rides Again" (playing chicken on the road), and articles that sounds current, "Are Athletes Doped?" History says yes; or "Can Gals Get Any Nuder?" History (and the Internet) has shown us, yes, they can.
